It is our desire to start a Navajo Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
The need for a Navajo Baptist Church in Phoenix is great! A year 2000 census states that over 24,000 Navajo live in Phoenix. It further estimates that if current population trends continue, Phoenix could host 70,000 Navajo by the year 2010. Also, various social and cultural differences cause many Navajo to feel like they don't "fit" in church. While not seeking to be exclusive from others, we would like to help the Navajo of Phoenix to start a church where Navajo singing and preaching is heard, and where Biblical principles are applied with a sensitivity toward Navajo culture.
As you will notice, much of our website is still under construction. However, check back frequently to enjoy the various growing departments that we hope will be helpful and informative to you!
